Express Coaches

Express Coaches are a form of travel that has largely been grossly neglected by policy-makers.  As the 'greenest' form of inner-urban transport express coaches, combined with interchanges at motorway junctions, could have enormous capability to increase passenger capacity on inter-urban corridors, and free up congestion while being kind to the environment.

John Austin recently worked with the economist Alan Storkey, Peter Miller from ITO World, and Mike Lambden from National Express, to present these concepts to the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Climate Change and the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Peak Oil at the House of Commons.
