'Expert Panels'

• John Austin was an expert member of the European Union-funded VOYAGER project's Intermodality Working Group. The VOYAGER project created a platform for exchange of experience, widespread dissemination and consensus building in support of a more efficient, sustainable, customer-oriented and safe public transport throughout Europe.

• He was also an expert member of the Tr@nsITS project working group which advised on future needs for Public Transport research in Europe. 

• John Austin was an external validator for the project 'Towards Passenger Intermodality in the EU', reviewing the project's final reports.

• John has participated as a member of transport industry professional institutes' expert panels, including carrying out work to respond to government consultation papers.
