Other ITS Work

A number of other projects have been carried out in the field of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS):

• John Austin was a Technical Contributor to the ITS Handbook (2nd Edition, 2005).

• John carried out a wide-ranging survey of kiosk applications in different industry sectors and reviewed the strategic and policy issues to be considered in introducing kiosks giving public transport information. This work was carried out with Peter Warman, of  Warman Consult.

• On occasions, John Austin has represented major stakeholders at international ITS standards group meetings.
